Plateau In Workout?

If you don't progress any more in your training/workout you may have hit a plateau. 

That's okay it happens to every advanced athlete to bust through it you can't just keep doing the same things you've been doing already it's time to change things up and break through the Plateau.

One of the most intense way to do this is 100 reps Monster Sets. 
  • First you select an exercise that allow you to perform about 25 solid consecutive reps.
  • Then you start your sets and complete the 25 reps.
  • Take 10-20 seconds break while breathing deeply.
  • Continue your set bust out a few more reps to failure.]
  • Take another rest of 15 to 20 seconds.
  • Continue in this manner until you hit the total of 100 reps.
Of course the amount of reps will drop dramatically after the first set because you only rest for about 15 to 20 seconds. 

Don't worry if you can only do 5 reps after each break that's the intention of this technique. You can do this method with calisthenics exercise or with weights if you do it with weights adjusted that you are able to do 25 reps.

If you do it with calisthenics exercises choose a progression which allows you to do this amount of reps. 
Here you can work with different variations.
  • Push Ups 
  • Bodyrow
  • Leg Raises 
  • Squats Variations.
If you do it with Weight choose a workout which allow you to do 25 reps consecutive with proper form.
Here you can choose with following workout.
  • Biceps Curl
  • Bench Press
  • Shoulder Press
  • Weighted Squat
Always keep in mind that this method is nothing you should do a regular basis. It's more of a strength endurance and capitalization training. 

⚠️  Not Good On A Regular Basis
Too high rep ranges for muscle growth less strength development.

In the long term it's not optional because the rep range is too high and will not be stimulating strength power or muscle gains like the 6 to 12 rep range.

On the other hand its Ideal as a workout finisher you can include from time to time after you normal training it will mix things up give you some variety and can help you to smash through a plateau.
